Play Shuswap 50/50

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #142501

    1 for $5.00; 1500 tickets
    3 for $10.00; 3600 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $9,750.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 10, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: September 11, 2023 at 10:00:00 a.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at School District #83 Board Office - Shuswap Lake meeting room, 341 Shuswap Street SW, Salmon Arm, BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://playshuswap.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 11, 2023.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Play Shuswap Physical Literacy Association.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Play Shuswap Physical Literacy Association or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Play Shuswap Physical Literacy Association does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: playshuswap@gmail.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at playshuswap@gmail.com should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

We’re a local network of people committed to building healthy, active, and physically literate communities in the Shuswap area. Our members represent education, health, recreation, sport and community sectors. We meet regularly to advance opportunities to inform professionals in our sectors and Shuswap residents about the benefits of developing and maintaining physical literacy throughout our lives.​Contact us to learn more about this initiative, to have a physical literacy presentation with your group or to learn about training offered through PLAY Shuswap.
